The CKGM Montréal 50th Anniversary Alumni Reunion "On Saturday evening November 21st 2009 at Montreal's Club Soda, approximately 150 party-goers, most of which alumni of the radio station's 50-year history, answered the call and traveled from near and far to attend the CKGM Montréal 50th Anniversary Alumni Reunion. The mild weather and the evening's clear blue sky over the city, the dimly-light venue, the shiny 980 - 990 station logos everywhere, the relentless nostalgia-tinged CKGM 50th Video Scrapbook over five screens, the non-stop five-decade ''CKGM Hit Music'' soundtrack, the tasty 'Montréal' food fare, the live finale with Toulouse and Martin Stevens, and most of all, the very special company in the room...all contributed in making this magical gathering a night to remember.
